I went out to help a young guy get his 26 T running today and show him how to drive it. When I raised th hood I was surprised to see a nice polished 4 ball Kingston. We got the car started and it ran pretty good but the choke/mixture linkage for a 26 doesn't work with that carb. To start it it took someone outside to choke it and adjust the carb. I told him that he could probably sell that carb and get enough for a nice nh holly and probably get some cash to boot. Anyway, I thought that I would mention this to the club and see if there was any interest in trading or buying the carb. The young man is a thinking about getting rid of the car since at the moment it is not usable and I would like to help him get it to a point where he can enjoy it and be confident that he can get out and run it. He has already put a lot of money in it and I know that it can be so frustrating doing all that work and still not being able to drive it.
