Brass era Schrader tire tube stem covers SOLD
Set of Schrader brass era tire tube stem covers with proper solid not stamped rim nuts for brass era Model T Fords, Original nickel plating over solid brass that you can strip to bare brass if you prefer!

Layden: I believe the nuts you have posted hold the bridge washers to the tube, not the dust covers!

I concur with Larry. The correct nut has inner and outer threads. The inside threads thread onto the brass stem and the outside threads thread into the valve cover threads. The nut is generally round with vertical unidirectional knurling. When the covers are nickel plated they are usually very nice after plating is depleted.

These nuts are for the correct early .482 " stems and go onto the stem after it is inserted thru a wood felloe wheel and before the dust cover. Note they are machined of brass stock not stamped. A bridge washer nut is shown next to one of these 4 larger nuts, note also that they have a shoulder to center in the wood felloe wheel hole.
The rim nuts that have threads both inner and outer are for later smaller diameter .406" stems. They are of stamped construction.
