FS Windshield Frame w hinges & clamps 1917-22

Post by TRDxB2 » Thu May 25, 2023 10:05 pm

The frame measures 39-1/4"across, bottom half 12" & upper half 10". Includes all parts shown (missing bottom glass channel). Has brazing in one corner
The upper half has a some slight rust in the rounded corners. I cleaned it out see photos. Note the edges of the channels are smooth the photo is showing light reflection. The same is true for showing the channels across the rough surface of the white ceiling tiles.

Its a 1917 through 1922. 1915 into mid 1917 had hinges that folded evenly, whereas this has uneven folding hinges. These hold the folded down upper section higher and gives slightly better protection for the driver.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
