I would like to buy a good 1925 block with a 12,000,000 serial number.

I have one in Mt. Vernon in. It's a 1187xxxx which makes it a June baby. Have no idea of condition. The price is right though. Email for photos. Thank you.

Why not get any 23-25 single valve door motor & make it into your 25, with your motor #?

No way to tell for sure that any particular block hasn’t had that done already anyway…

Wouldn't casting dates be harder to fake/modify than serial numbers?

A little harder. I think the hardest thing is to find an exact matching # stamp set.
Casting date marking can be copied from the original block with a silicone mold & reset on the new block with JB weld. Paint to cover.

You know, the legal profession has a term for all or part of this, and it isn't "clever".

I have several 1926 style blocks with 1925 serial numbers available. I'm already half way to California to visit family and attend the Auburn swap meet.

The 1924 and 1925 T blocks are the same and there is no casting date on them, the 1923 T block is different as it has the Ford script on the side and a slightly different shape number pad. A 1925 number beginning with 12 million will be a little harder to find because the 1926 style engines started at the 12.2 million range.

Original was very specific with what he wants.
Don't try to confuse him with facts.
