I’ve also seen this on every original centerdoor up to 1919. Mine is a ‘19 and I’ve lost the horn button bracket. Hole c/c is 1 3/4”. Langs repops are 2 1/4”. Please look in your stash

George, I can help with a Canadian bracket. They use the same bracket from 1915 -1927. The later ones have the tabs parallel to the sides. All you would need to do is bend them at right angles to mount it on your column. On canadian cars the button was mounted to the sides of the steering wheel nut.

George,
This one may be homemade. Looks like the switch housing has a tab on each side and someone Bradded a band one side and used a small screw and tap on the other side to mount to column.
It’s interesting on the back of the switch it reads:
“The General Phonograph Manufacturing Co.”
“Eliria Ohio”
“Pat’d”
“Made in USA”
Well, I guess I can’t post a picture on here?

Thank you Allan and Robbie for your responses. In my picture, theres a screw installed in the forward hole that would secure the horn button bracket. The 2 holes in the column are 1 3/4” apart. Maybe someone could post a picture of the part I’m looking for…

That’s it Frank ! Now I have a picture of what I’m looking for. Thanks. Of course I’d buy the bracket + horn button if available. Are the mounting holes 1 3/4” apart ?

Its not my part. Just did a search for it so we would know what to look for. In my photo th button is almost the same as the distance between the holes, how does yours compare?
Found another link and it pretty much looks like you want yours to

I believe Dodge Brothers used that same horn button but it was mounted on the left door panel, near the driver's elbow.

George, you have the scarce inner part. The button cap is available from the vendors. The outer steel casing I can supply if you can't get one locally.

G’day Allan, if you’d sell a horn button bracket like Frank’s and Robbie’s picture above, I’d like to accept your thoughtful and considerate offer. I understand that I’d need to bend the 2 mounting hole ears….BTW, we’re only
3 1/2 hours south of Plano, TX. Please contact me by email in the first screen of this thread…
