Sorry Robert. But a fuse, or worse yet fuse block on your model t trumps the water pump / MMO conversation by a country mile.

Ha!!! Come on you know you'll love having one. Someone has to have a bad radiator out there? Can you put 4 in line fuses to the tail light? I was able to put a bulb from a lighthouse back there.

Over the last 46 years I've had two fires oh model T and I don't think I would've had them if I had fuses, MOt was made along time ago and upgrade to fuses to keep from starting a fire and losing your car. I would think would be an upgrade. Also a battery disconnect switch I don't think it's gonna be a long time now that all the blanks are gone so where did you get that fuse Block him

A bergs pump IMO is the best door stop of door stops.

All 3 of the bergs pumps I have had the need to remove required a Sawzall.
The mounting holes are tight & the aluminum oxidized to PERMANENTLY LOCK the mounting bolts.
Removal required cutting thru the mounting bolts about 1/2" front the block, chiseling away the body & grabbing the bolt stubs with vice grips.
Your experience may vary. (I do see you un bolted yours without pump destruction)

I do suggest a constructive solution.
I would enlarge the mounting holes at least. Better, I would line the holes with thin wall brass hobby tubing. Best, well, I wont go there.

At least your water pump and the fuse block are both from "Improved" T's!

Add a fuse and burn up a generator? This is better than burning up thr car.

When I bought my barn fresh Henrietta, in her toolbox was a disabled spring rabbit trap. It makes a good wheel chock. A water pump may be a more correct T model wheel chock, but I must decline as it is not rusty enough to match her patina.

Water pumps are a prime cause of AGW.

When I was a kid many years ago, I picked up model t parts around my grand parents ranch put together a touring. The engine had a water pump that was iron and had the name Climax cast into the side of it. I would sometimes tell people that I was sure my grandma had a climax in this car. They'd look at me kinda funny. Then I'd open the hood and show them the waterpump. Most people didn't think it was very funny but I at least amused myself. It really didn't work and eventually I took it off and sold it to someone on this website but I sort of wish I still had it.

I am the proud owner of not one, but THREE Model T water pumps! One of the pumps is the type that has the little rectangular access door on the side that allows you to tighten the set screw that holds the impeller to the shaft.
The second one is a "King" brand and was on the car when I purchased it.
The third one was given to me by a friend of mine whom I've known before either of us owned Model Ts. It's an Eskimo brand water pump and was manufactured by the Eskimo Radiator Company of Los Angeles, California.
I knew the family that owned Eskimo Radiator and almost went to work for them when I was just starting out.
The company was purchased by Modine Radiator Company, and the family was told that they would all be retained in the positions they held at the time of the purchase.
As soon as the ink dried on the purchase documents, Modine canned everyone.
And if you're wondering if I have a water pump on my car, I do not, as a matter of fact. I have a re cored radiator on it.
