Rec'd call from 510 671-4663, with some of these parts for cheap...voicw 9sounds like middle age guy. Wanted check sent to PO box, could not or would not provide regular mail or Email address. Apologies if just honest circumstances, Mr. J. Jones, but BS meter blinking at this end.

He is 100% scammer. Maybe 2 months ago called me about parts I was looking for. Loosing storage,2 days to react, can't send pictures because his phone is a Hawaiin cell plan. On and on.
Called me yesterday about a WOSP starter I was looking for. Called in the morning, I asked for pictures, dropped his phone in the water and wasn't sure it would work. The starter was in a pile his grandpa had bought. Later in the day he called again and asked what I was looking for, I told him 1910 Buick motor. GUESS WHAT, he had 1.

BTT. Urgently needing at least (2) of these 30 x 3 smooth white front tires. New would be ideal...lightly used will work. Thanks Scott

I got scamed 2 yrs ago ,By a Philip Wilson 510 331 2130. Same area code,similar tactics.

Same number called me but I didn't answer, wonder if he had a spare 1907 Franklin engine?

He answered my ad for smooth gray tires. I told him I needed the serial number and production date take a photo and email it to me. Never heard another word from the scammer.

Yeah, I got scammed and the guys were able to somehow copy my on line bank statement to "proove"
they overpaid me. I called my bank and no such deposit existed. Since they got into my bank account and computer it took a week to change all financial accounts and all passwords etc. From now on I don't store private info on the computer.

It's not the computer it's the internet connection, we need 2 pc's nowadays, one un connected to keep private info on and one connected to the NSA, I mean the internet...

Still needing these smooth white 30 x 3 tires gentlemen. These are needed for an early project belonging to a long time (60 plus years), highly regarded member and early parts supplier/manufacturer.
