looks like a brass plated fuel tank cap but no vent hole
$20 + shipping

I think those were used on English Fords back in the fifties.

Ford Prefect/Anglia Radiator cap, hence no Vent.

These were pretty common junk yard items back in the 50's-60's around here. The life expectancy of early Anglia/Prefect cars was not great in our climate. I picked one of those caps up at that time to replace the broken "pot-metal" cap on my 27 touring. It's still on the car and I have never had a problem due to the lack of vent. Just don't tighten the cap the last quarte turn. Must suck enough air past the theads to keep gas flowing.
