The phone rang and I jumped and hit the send key before reading.

The Box does not have much information, but a tag on top has Gordon Campbell, 495-4610, and 4595 on it. The tag was in the box.

Does that make it worthless?
Where did he live?

No, not at all - any purist would gladly have it maybe not a that price though. I believe he resided in California.

Steve, I specialize in 1926-27 Model Ts and Electrical problems.
I'm just selling these for a friend's son that has very little information.
Another friend of mine bought one for his 1909 about 25 years ago for $300 then.
He never used it and liked the VW distributor.
Another friend might still have that one.

Howard Cascia from San Luis Obispo, I believe, made them. I bought a few 09-10 Model T and NRS timers from him. They are good timers.

I had an aluminum ford timer that was rebuilt by him. It was excellent quality.

Even if it is a reproduction it is still a really neat timer!

A friend stopped by this morning and bought the Timers.
I had two and was going to keep one!
He told me the original did not have the writing on it.
I have a friend that had one and he may want to sell his, but he is on his way to California now in a motor home.
We will be at Hershey with any luck and no big rainstorms.

Interesting, I bought some NOS wind wing clamps that have the same style tag on them.

Back in the 50's my father purchased a set of 1913 Fenders from Howard Cascia. There were perfect fit and very authentic. They were even painted shiny black!
just satin,

From his obit, he was a talented guy who made alot of repro parts thru the years. When I met him, he said he was in his ninties. Seemed like a real nice guy.
I recall some folks tyring to buy his tooling/fixtures but the family wasnt selling. Those ealy timers werent exactly easy to make.

I had no idea what a fair price would be for that Timer, but I do remember my friend paying $300 for one about 25 years ago.
The general opinion at that time was that he paid too much.
I asked four Model T guys what would be a good price that would sell it.
My four opinions were $500, $600, $750, and $800.
My friend that suggested $500 called me and said he would buy it, so he did!

No, but I had a friend that bought one he never used about 25 years ago.
His 1910 had a VW Distributor and it worked good.
I sold the 1910 with the VW and a couple other cars for him and my T Sales friend bought several boxes of parts and another complete engine.
I just contacted him and he did not have the Timer.
I also contacted his son that asked us to sell those parts to see if he may still have the Timer.
There has been no answer yet, but there are several people interested in buying one now.
