What would be the advantage? More power.
But less inclined to run on poor gas or kerosene of the period.

3 speed sliding gear transmission. It’d raise your top end from 6 to 7-8 MPH…if it was for a Model F that is. Fordsons we’re built in some form or fashion up to 1962.

George, Judging from the water pump/outlet on front of head, its for a Model F or Model N. There was also another model made and sold in England up into the 1040's.
