Original Stewart Speedometer spindle arm extension stud, photo for reference. This part extends the spindle for mounted a speedometer ahead of the axle. Please message me through the forum if you have one available.

I have some of both - let's see the front - that looks like a wire wheel type.

Well, you don't know what you don't know.. I didn't realize there were two styles. I (my father actually) is looking for the earlier one, like it shown on page 26 of Russ Furstnow's book. Part #3986. I've taken two quick photos out of my copy of the book for reference. I now see that the end of this extension nut (opposite the hex head) is tapered. That is what we are looking for. My father has the remainder of the brackets shown in photo 2-12 (came as 'extra' in some parts I had) and so we're just looking to get the extension nut for him. Thank you for your quick response!
