Looking for an aluminum intake manifold needed to mount A carb to an T engine. Anyone have such?
Thanks

Try eBay .

Your looking for a Zenith manifold. Not reproduced. You need to find and original.

Not sure if these sidedraft manifolds are still being reproduced. I made up the elbow adapter for the Winfield and it worked great. Don’t those Zenith manifolds get really restrictive in the dogleg…?

Hi Tom,
I was way under on that one on eBay too.
Are you running a generator most updraft
Manifolds/A carb combinations will not clear
a generator. Offset manifolds are hard to find
If you have a early engine or run a alternator
That eBay up draft manifold will work with a
Tillison X or Shebler carb. The Winfield manifolds
Currently available can be used by making a adapter that moves the carb back & away
from the engine.
Craig.

Can’t you use the intake from a A or B model on a T?

Yes on the Model A maybe B too but you would need to redo the throttle rod to use and might need to use the exhaust in conjunction. You don't need the adapter plate to use it.

We are looking into the “A” intake. There are several considerations to be worked out if we make that change! We’ll keep monitoring EBay and auctions.

I have this one: I sent you an internal message.
UPDATE: If Tom is not interested, this manifold and lever is available. Give reasonable offer. SALE PENDING

I thought I had it made with the one I found but the carb flange is the wrong way

Hi Tom,
I don't think I have ever seen a A manifold with a T exhaust ( other than a vaporizer exhaust manifold? & changing to a A manifold W/ exhaust
is more work.) The manifold in Kevin's pic I believe is a speedway manifold modified to use a Winfield carb. That is the third one I have seen
& I'll bet none of them are for sale. The Zenith manifold is as rare as the carb is, & if Chris is interested in parting with the lever I would be
interested as I don't have that part & will need to make it. Karl that is the more desirable set up if you can find all the parts to the carb.
Craig.

I was told in the past that the Zenith manifold with the lever on the side was the reproduction and the one Karl shows is the original because the carb Karl shows is the original type that came with the manifold and use the original Ford style carb rod.

Zenith made carbs with the bolt pattern both ways. The O4 Zenith bolts are inline I have one just like the one Mark posted.
Yes the carb is on backwards to show the model # But this may be a aftermarket manifold that was referenced because the word Zenith
is different than most or could be a later production??
Craig.
