As was promised last year, the last set of dies have now been made and correct gaskets stamped...

Brand new, custom float valve, and perfectly dimensioned custom gaskets plus the venturi spacer are now available to be purchased as a kit.

Full kits will be sold until I am out of float valves, and then just the gasket set alone, will be available, as I have far more gaskets available than float valves, and nothing will be made again after that. This was a one-time project to fulfill my personal needs, with extras available for those folks who want high quality custom parts which have never before been available on the market (and likely never will be again).

The kit* will contain one each of the following:

• complete float valve assembly with gasket

• throttle body-to-carb gasket

• upper bowl gasket*

• lower bowl gasket

• hard fiber venturi spacer

* the assumption is that the original U&J bowl is long gone due to splitting, and the restoration is being undertaken with a modified Holley G bowl

This kit is not cheap, but for the price, does not even begin to pay for my costs making the dies, or the custom float valve assembly. These are simply surplus to my needs, and are being offered for those folks who wish to execute a true actual restoration of a rare and valuable carb, and not just cobble out ragged parts from an old Kleenex box.

Hank, I wish I had a restoreable U&J carb core. I'd buy one in a minute or less.

due to anemic interest, there is no point pimping something so few people are interested in, so fair warning

It took a month, but 3 people invested in 9 kits which is in my mind a shocking, whopping success.

I'm no longer selling float valves as I don't intend to make any more and am holding back the remainder for my own use, so only the gasket kits are now available and when they're gone they're gone, too. I've oiled up the dies and put them away and will probably never look at them again other than to perhaps repurpose the metal. They were an interesting project.
