Wouldn't this be a late aluminum cover considering it has the reinforcing ribs?

I thought aluminum trans covers were only thru early 1916 or so?? It also has the lettered pedals. $125.00 delivered to Hershey.

That is a 13/14. 15 had ribbed pedals.
You should show the front to see that the front ears are not broken off.

Added FYI. The iron hogsheads began showing up at the factory assembly lines around November of 1915. The assembly line photos of the one millionth engine early December 1915 show both aluminum and iron hogsheads going down the lines.
Smooth and ribbed pedals on US built Ts were pretty consistent with iron and aluminum hogsheads. Canadian Ts continued using ribbed pedals for several more years into the early 1920s on iron and even starter hogsheads.

As far as T era you are correct. On the lip straddling the holes are vertical reinforcing webs which were added to the castings. While they are all "early" this casting change occurred around 12 but don't quote me on it. Essentially you had the square hole, then the aluminum, then aluminum with reinforcement, and finally cast iron.

It's packed in the trailer for the trip to Hershey now so it can be found there in north Chocolate C4Y 1-3 along with some other good stuff, but mostly Model A small parts.
-thanks,
