Here is a hard to find part. The inlet elbow for a vaporizer. I have not seen many of these. This one has the original screw and nut. $25 + shipping. Email me by forum

I have been ask where this was used. I think it was for early Ford or Holley units. There is a picture of one on what looks like said unit on page397 in “Car that Changed the World.” But does not say when used or which vaporizer it is. Looks like Holley unit to me, but I don’t know 26/27 stuff.

My understanding is it was used on early holly vaporizers.
Soon deemed unnecessary & discontinued.

I think you’re correct.

This elbow is definitely 27. Later in production to draw air through the hood vents.
Here’s a photo of the 15,000,000 engine and while it’s a little foggy, it’s clearly on the engine.
The engine was painted white for the special car.
