For Sale: Vintage tail lights

Post by Walt Wise » Thu Jan 17, 2019 5:20 pm

Vintage identical tail lights except one is chromed and the other is painted silver. I was going to use these on my 26 Coupe, but have found other ones I like better. Both are missing the red lens, of which you can buy several styles – you can get all red, amber and red, and red with the word STOP in amber. Below is the Synder part numbers of those three lens that were the most reasonable I could find.

I have replaced the cork gaskets with new ones for both the “red” lens area and the clear tag lens. The pig tails are new in the silver one and are good in the chrome one. Also, it has the mounting bolts in both tail lights and all that is needed is whatever red lens you want to order for them and whether you want 6 volt or 12 volt bulbs. I am asking $36 for both, plus shipping. Thanks for looking!!! Walt Wise

These need to find a new home! So how about a bottom dollar price of $34 and free shipping to any of the 48 contiguous US states. I am beginning to feel like an idiot for "piecing" these two tail lights back together with the missing and new parts I replaced, along with my unrecoverable time! I definitely have spent more than I am asking for on them! Surely someone has a use for them??? No they aren't new, but they are complete except for the red lens/bulbs - which is a buyer's preference of what they like/want. Thanks for looking! Walt Wise
