still looking for a windshield frame for this 1930/31 Model A 4dr. ( standard ) ... i have been trying to track down parts from this car by contacting local shops and suppliers in the central Ill. region ... there are some sales receipts with the vehicle ... all other glass is new ,but no identification regarding the shop ... possibly the glass shop that supplied the other glass was fitting glass to the windshield ? vehicle is from the Cushing estate in Sheridan,Ill. ( approx. 30 mile west of Chicago) ...any help in locating a windshield is appreciated ...Gene French

Gene-Perchance do you have dimensions of the windshield? I have a couple windshields for Model A's that are solid, and believe they are for a Coupe? Does the 4 Dr. use a different windshield?

I looked at my frames, none have the top part of the hinge. Check Bert's Model A in Denver? I also have a guy locally who owns a couple dozen Model A's and a pile of parts if you want me to inquire. Check Bert's first, Steve may have just the top hinge and I might have the rest. Or Steve might have the whole sheebang.

i spoke with Steve at Berts Ford ...he has new windshields ... i prefer to use original parts when i can ... the 4 dr. windshield has a different top hinge and the location for the adjustment arms bracket is different ( i am told) ... not sure what will fit ...if you can check with the other parts source i would appreciate that ...thanks Gene French
