I am in search of a very nice rust free WS frame for my Coupe. Look at the lower vertical square box tube and for swelling on the face of the lower arc that typically presents as small dimples at the spot welds. There are two different ‘26/‘27 closed car frames and they are not interchangeable. The fastener pattern on the header is different. Piano hinge style or clasp hinge style.

Ken, There are several on EBAY, presently. ONE: 364705846078 is a North Dakota frame offered by Doll-Off Antiques For $349.00; a good seller who i have bought from before. TWO: 226572218394 also offered by Doll-Off For $449.00. THREE: 362343788406 for $425.00. FOUR: If you needed just the top with piano hinge, 116546100868 is $200.00.

Thank you Terry for taking the time to find and post all those links. That was very considerate of you. Dino Marinelli also told me of a Speedway Motors reproduction aluminum one apparently true to fit. I will check all of those on Monday.

Ken, I didn't know that you were "open" to a reproduction frame. I thought only an original would do. Yes, Speedway, Snyder's, and Lang's, offer the aluminum frame, and Snyder's and Lang's offer one in steel, too. I don't know about the steel frames, but the aluminum frames do not come with the piano hinge, unless I'm mistaken.
