Could be wrong but don't see any difference compared to later short nose selectors except for name on it.

Mark, these Shifter Assemblies are kinda like a teenage Boy and a Girlfriend. It always seems that when a lad is looking for a girlfriend, they're never any prospects to be found however once he finally finds a girlfriend, it always seems other available prospects are everywhere.

You are correct in that the bronze one functions just like the later iron ones. I recently paid top-dollar for a bronze one because I needed it for a project we were working on and had not seen one come available in recent months. I responded to that ad, and while I was putting the deal together someone else contacted me with one they had for sale (-at a reduced rate) so I purchased it also. My reasoning for wanting one, was for use on a mid-teens brass car. Hopefully Mr. Dendinger is able to sell this one to someone who will polish it and proudly use it on their Ruckstell-equipped T.

yep Brent! You spend years looking for something, finely find one, buy it, then 20 more pop up at a lower price and better condition.
