Re: WTB Brass window frame mount spotlight
Hey thanks for the reply,
I actually found a nice example on eBay about two weeks ago ... over the last few evening I was able to take some time and restore this spotlight and I think it turned out very nice... The light is made by Chas Kaufman and Sons Santaana California. I have noticed some example of this light with the name Silverbeam cast in the bracket or just Kaufman... they are a very nice period spot light... from what I can tell most of the light was nickel plated with the back of the lens being painted black ... The nickel on my light was just about gone from age so I cleaned it till the brass was brilliant which I actually prefer over the nickel for my T. There are two examples of this light on eBay currently... but you have to be aware of missing components as most that I have seen are usually missing something... most of the time it’s the light socket that has been removed from the light... I have included a few pictures from my restoration.

BTW The JHayden that responded to my post also responded to several other posts in a row with the exact same comment on each post... I notice he joined on November 1st ... this maybe be some sort of scammer wanting to attract ppl to sending an email to the email address he left... not sure but just BEWARE!!
