Back on the market...

I did buy these...they arrived in fine shape...B U T

I neglected to ask Tim the size of the slot on the extensions...MY BAD...the extensions do not fit on my handles.

The slot is 3/8" wide and 1/2" long...just a little too small for my door levers of 3/8 X 1/4.

Sure, the door levers can be filed smaller...but at the moment I have other things to do. Yes, these handles do fit nicely on the spark & throttle levers...but, then again, I have three handle extensions and only two levers.

So..my loss = your gain...would you like these for your vehicle? Nickle plated brass castings..same price I paid Tim...$45.00 to your door, and I'll pay shipping.

Thanks everyone.

Thought I’d follow up on this post. I’d be glad to buy back from Dave if he was unhappy. Donnie Brown graciously provided these pics, and confirmed my guess that they are for door handles. Note the instruction, need to be pounded on if required. I wouldn’t have guessed that. Perhaps if they had Dremel tools with a small rotary bit available back then they would have included that in the instructions. From my experience, being made out of heavy brass they would not be suitable for gas and spark rods, mainly because of their weight. Similar ones suitable that for use would be aluminum , and often with a setscrew to keep in place.

Any accessory handles that do not have a set screw are supposed to be an interference fit and are intended to be “hammered” on.

Hi Tim,
Oh - I was happy...I used to have a '26 touring that had a chrome radiator shroud...would have gone well with it. "Downsizing" meant giving up the storage space...I was able to find room for only the '15, and when you said the structural metal was BRASS, I was happy to acquire them. However, as I said previously, they don't fit the handles on the '15....yes, I can MAKE them fit, but I'd rather not.
I did offer them here...had a reply, currently waiting for payment...hasn't arrived yet. If it doesn't some soon, I'll be back in touch with you.
Not unhappy at all....I just made a slight "boo-boo".
