I got the same message from him today in response to my WTB speedo swivel ad. His buddy Smith has one, Just contact Morty. Same scam as just discussed a couple weeks ago, different names. Art

I had the same feeling, they are scammers. Like an idiot I even answered before coming to the realization. Frank

Not really^ They now DO have his email address. Like robo calls, the computer generates phone/email address and if someone responds or picks up they now have a live phone/email address. That is my OP and I am sticking too it!

Phone calls are funny! I have been answering "Sheriff's office/Want and Warrants Division/ or Homicide Division/CLICK a hang up. Well my dear friend started getting these kind scam calls call so what he did was this-Cottonwood Police Dept/ Officer(some kind of name) and they hung up- The next call came and he answered Cottonwood Police Dept and the person said :oh I'm sorry I dialed the wrong number and humg upoo. Well my buf=ddy has changed his phone number but I'll bet in a short while he will get some calls. Oh by the way Cottonwood does not have a police department and only is covered by the County Sheriff's department!
Well to all the MTFCA member's and families a very Happy New Year from California

The Nigerians have been at this a long time,I wonder what percent of their GNP is from scamming people out of their money. Must be at least 25-30%.

I have been a contributing member of this site for 15 years and really don't appreciate having my handle here being confused with this clown.
Thanks for your input Philip!

I am fairly new here and meant nothing by asking. This clown chose a handle very close to yours and I don’t think it was wrong of me to ask.

Don't feel bad Danny, I insulted a very good person on this forum because of the same thing. That "Jackass" copied by one off letter and was sending me porn crap, etc. I have since just ignore those idiots.

Hank

No problem at all Danny. I just wanted to make it clear to readers that this guy has nothing to do with me.

If the Fed cut off foreign aid to Nigeria (if they do) until they fix this, would it help?
