That's what Chevrolet said about Ford being a four letter word back in the twenties when many of Chevy innovations were winding up on later model Fords. Chevy was on the cutting edge and Ford was on the trailing edge for many of the early years.
Competition was good for both of them. They fed off each other and a better / Cheaper car for the working Man was the result.
