Rebuilt Zenith S4BF carb and intake

Post by Bruce Compton » Sun Dec 01, 2019 4:51 pm

This is a rebuilt Zenith S4BF by Stan Howe that I got from Jay a few months ago and I don't think has ever been used since the rebuild. The project I intended it for has gone so I don't have a use for the carb/intake. Note that it has the Stan Howe adjustable main jet. I have never had the chance to run one of these set-ups but apparently they are excellent . Asking $750.00 including shipping from Canada till Dec 10th, or from Florida after Dec 18th. Thanks : Bruce

Hi Bruce,
Did you make it to warm weather by now? If so and the Zenith remains available, I'll take it off your hands. I'm in CO at our cabin for the holidays. Please send me an email and we can take care of the details.

They are great carbs.
Couple things.
1. Do not grind out the holes in the intake where it mounts to the block. That design is part of the success of those carbs.

2. If you have problems with the adj jet seeping fuel, let me know and I'll replace it. The first couple designs didn't seal as well as the newer design does.

3. I have two of those in stock right now.

Thanks Hank and Stan. And Bruce too.
We are going to give it a go. I like the way the manifold fits with a Generator. I didn't think I could go wrong with a Howe-Built Zenith.

Merry Christmas to all.

John
