I bought this casting equipment recently at an auction with the idea of casting Kingston 5 ball carb bodies, unobtainium parts, etc. It had been used mostly for casting Pewter belt buckles for Hesston Machinery, Rodeos, etc. It looks like an interesting deal but realistically, I will never have the time or energy to set it up and use it.
Rather than take up space here: Brief description: Charles Hones Buzzer 160 gas melting pot with crucible, large centrifugal spin casting machine, mold press, many small items. Looks like original cost was in the 8-10,000 range, I want $2,000 for all of it but we'll see how that flies. This would put somebody in the casting business pretty cheap.
I'd appreciate it if you'd pass this on to people making parts, casting hub caps, whatever. Stan Howe stanhowemt@aol.com 406-949-3448
