This should have been posted in the Classified Section of this site.

Nice looking car by the way.

Yeah, I ran into that too. I have been trying to put a WTB in the Classifieds for several weeks, but it looks like you have to be a member of MTFCA, which makes sense! So I joined MTFCA, but it is not yet reflected in the Classifieds so I can't put in my WTB, yet.

But I do WTB a '26 -'27 with wire wheels, solid body, OK paint and interior, everything working, along with excellent mechanicals including recently rebuilt and balanced engine and transmission with a Scat Stroker crank, stipe 280 cam, high compression head, new babbit and pistons, etc. plus a Ruckstell in excellent condition. The tubes, tires, and wire wheels have to be in excellent condition. I want a driver, a car someone spent a lot of money to fix up right a couple of years ago that they have taken excellent care of, and now want to take a big loss on in order to sell. Location matters as I have to consider shipping expenses although they could be included in the final price if the seller wanted.

I am told I should be able to find one for $10,000. Please contact me if you have the car I described for sale.

I will post this in Classifieds when that starts working for me.

My understanding is; cars for sale by non members are not free, selling a car in the cars for sale section is a perk of being a member. Even for members, the administrators need to update your allowances to post in the car for sale section. I suggest contacting Jeff or Chris. In ether case, people would be looking in one of the two sections to buy a car not on the forum. I hope I have not over stepped my bounds by posting this.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

It is a bit unfair to us supporting members, to have non MTFCA members trying to sell a car, not even a regular poster, and the only post is an advertisement.
Just come along and use the forum to make a buck.

True. But it would also be nice if there were a banner in the Classifieds saying that only members can post items for sale.
