Cimorelli's Model T Digital Library

Post by Mark Gregush » Sun Jun 28, 2020 10:04 pm

I went to look something up in Cimorelli's Model T Digital Library and could not get a good link. I could get parts, but could not get the information to come up when clicking on a subject. http://www.cimorelli.com/mtdl/1923/default.htm
Has anyone else tried lately? Maybe something expired? Would be a great loss, lots of work to digitize all those manuals etc. Does anyone know him, maybe let him know.

I entered just cimorelli.com and got the home page, but the Model T digital library link got this:

The webmaster email link on the home page works. Go ahead and see if you can contact him.

Oh crap! His voluminous archives have been my go-to.
And I lip-off at every chance to encourage newb's to go there for a digital manual.

the whole thing is offline - I went to Cimorelli.com and got a generic Windows Server page...

Did he get bumped or ??? I know I forgot to up my server package payment and got something equally scary for my own home page once... until I paid the piper... even then I had to restore a lot of my old pages from backups.

This could be a disaster for the community, as this was a huge resource a lot of us tapped...

Just got message from MTFCI Webmaster who is alerted and she will begin investigation this evening after work. The homepage of www.modelt.org has link to Technical Library, and as of now isn't working right.

Agree, the digital info is very helpful.

Lucky to also have a CD version that was purchased a while ago, so my PC has these as a file.

Try the internet archive, I've used it in the past for his website:

That opens only the 1923 listings with over half of titles not showing what they are. The 1923 was a random page that I found not the one I was looking for.

I once tried to contact the site owner because I had something I wanted to contribute back to them, unfortunately that was unsuccessful.

However I do have an off-line mirror of the site as of a few months ago. Is there a particular item you're looking for? I may be able to locate it and send to you.

Thanks for the offer Luke. I found the info I was looking for else were. There was a question about a marine conversion posted here and wanted to see if there was a copy of the about 1927 Canadian parts book in the listings. The Canadian copy includes parts for the marine conversion along with tractors and body parts all in one catalog. We have a copy at the shop and did not find what I was looking for.

Yes. All is well, the link on MTFCI homepage, 'Technical Library' index is working now with all the blue hot links to the library collection.
Thanks Madison, the webmaster for MTFCI.
