How about magnetic signs? I would never put a bumper sticker on a T.

I don’t mind bumper stickers as long as they are dignified and tasteful.

For my car “Rusty”:

Rusty tonight
Rusty tonight

I looked for a sticker which states:

“This car has a two speed transmission. If you don’t like this speed you sure as hell won’t like the other!”

Since I couldn’t find that I settled for this one... and a set of stealth accident avoidance appliqués:

Rusty rear
Rusty rear

Rusty rear too
Rusty rear too

These went on about 18 years ago. The sticker gets lots of comments... ALL POSITIVE! The two round reflectors are used to skillfully conceal two holes a previous owner drilled in the tailgate.

Cheers, TH

A friend gave me a magnetic "sticker" that identifies my car as a "1915 Model T Ford". It saves at least one question.

Other stickers I have seen: "This car is constipated, hasn't passed a thing in days" "If you don't like this gear, you really would not like the other one" "Pass with care, driver asleep"

Thanks Alan.

Don Jennings (author of “Three Pedals Down Main Street”) used to leave sage advice on the rear of his T using chalk. One I enjoyed was “Pass with care, driver chews terbaccee”.

Mine wasn't on the car, it was on the windshield....
ArtFor18thAmendmentOriginal.jpg
Unfortunately, my wife dropped the original glass it was on and it broke. Fortunately it only broke in 3 places so.....

ArtFor18thAmendment.jpg
I reproduced it. Problem is, I don't agree with the 18th Amendment, it was one of the worst things this country ever did.
Sooooo, I'll probably never use it.

Years ago when Terry was still a practicing Dentist, he would drive Rusty to the office. My in-laws live just doors up from his office, so put a card on Rusty's windshield, "We buy Junk, Call 800-GOT SCRAP" (or something close to that--it was a LONG time ago!).
Yeah, he figured out who dunnit.
T'ake care,

I ❤️ bumper stickers.

They are of interest still today in the 21st century.

Some of the Model T’s I have hauled had vintage stickers and decals going back many decades 👍

A good friend brought me one back from a trip to the U.S. it read ; F**k the whales, save the cowboy, It gave me a good chuckle but it was on my cars rear bumper just a week or two when someone else probably liked it even more and tore it off

Not a bumper sticker....it's on my windshield. It's a vintage sticker from the 1940's for a roller rink in Houston that burned down in the 1960's.

I was at an old car gathering last October and a lady saw it and told me that she worked there in the 50's. So I told her..."Wow, you're essentially the girl on the sticker!" And she said, "Yes...I guess I am!"

We both had a good laugh and some smiles.

And THAT is a big part of why I love Model T's. I've never seen an old car evoke as many smiles per mile as this car does.

I like the old presidential election stickers. That’s pretty cool, would be really cool if those have been on the car all those years! I was thinking about putting a “Black Cars Matter” magnet on my car but here in the Bronx I’m pretty sure that would get my T vandalized. :(

Though I must say I’ve gotten quite a warm welcome from most here in the Boogie Down, everyone seems to love old Lizzie. Seems to brighten everyone’s day.

Maybe I’ll settle for a magnet that says “Unlimited Smiles To The Gallon!”.

Sorry, but I wouldn't put EITHER on mine!

Exactly! I would NEVER put a bumper sticker on anything, let alone one of my nice cars, trucks or Trailers! They just scream "Tacky"
When I buy a car, removing any of them that happen to be on it is one of the first things I do.

I will make an exception as I guess you could consider them bumper stickers even if they are not on the bumpers....I am going to build a gasser out of my 57 Chieftan & want to recreate the late 60's/early 70's look with the "sponsor" stickers on the sides.

God Bless

This is all bringing back some memories. Twenty years ago, Anja and I participated in the Greentree Parade here in Kirkwood. Since it was an election year, we decided to decorate the car appropriately. Since the car is a 1924 Touring, we opted for a Coolidge campaign car. (The sign on the side is a "Keep Cool With Coolidge" poster.) In addition to our dress and the car decorations, I also found a Coolidge campaign ad on microfilm in the Post-Dispatch archives. I photocopied it and made a bunch of copies. I drove in the parade and Anja handed out the "campaign flyers" to the people along the route.

The modern photo is the one we took in our driveway after the parade. Then I got a little crazy with photo software. Modern house across the street is gone, other modern stuff also gone, photo changed to B&W, and a friend's Model T passing by added.

As far as political windshield stickers, find one on line and copy it...
