Re: cow/bull horn wanted
George. I have a Bull Horn that is cable operated on My 26 touring. The horn is electric and the cable operates the internal switch in the horn. Perhaps the wire going into Your horn broke off ?. If You Goggle Bull Horns there are a bunch of cable operated electric horns available. I have never seen a
non electric Bull Horn, But there could well be some out there ?
Good Luck

Ole Bully
George. If Your horn is like Mine it will wake the dead. Makes a moanful sound like Ole Bully got the family jewels hung up in a electric fence. the electric wire on My horn is on the opposite side of the horn from the control cable connections. the wire goes through a open hole in the housing.
I would use it sparingly as it could startle drivers close to You and cause a un planned reaction.

Re: cow/bull horn wanted
Don't buy a cheap plastic one get a good Jubilee Bull Horn. They are on ebay at a lot off different price point, if someone does not come up with one here. I just found one myself after reading this. It had the bell changed and was repainted black. The true ones seem to be red with a curved horn and decal on the front.

Looks like there are 6 and 12 volt ones, 12 might be more prevalent.

Mystery Solved
George. Glad you found the problem. Like they say "it's the little bugs that eat Your lunch". You might want to consider replacing the bull horn with a different type horn, My understanding is the Bull was not a factory horn but a accessory. and the bat horn both battery and magneto were factory horns, on the model T. Ask Larry Smith He will know.
The popular oooga horn was not a factory model T horn. became standard on the Model A but most people associate it with the model T area. The Bull horn cable can be a real pain and the electric horn button takes up less room on the steering column than another leaver to contend with. My opinion is the bull horn is more of a novelty horn but it will make folks jump out of their skin for sure. But for normal driving I think a second horn either bat horn or oooga is needed and use the bull horn for shows and demonstrations makes a unique sound and You vary the pitch and loudness with the control cable leaver.
Good Luck Jim

Re: cow/bull horn wanted
Jim, No, wrong answer, will be buying a replacement Bull Horn, to replace the one I found dead on Stanley. Stanley came with an Ahooga, a Bulb Horn, the Bull Horn and I have added a Cow Bell, and a Hand Plunger Horn. I will be adding a Bermuda Ding-Dong Bell after that. My other 3 T's at home have their Factory Horns, not happening with Stanley!!!

Greg, if you heard one in person, you'd know that it doesn't anything like a T horn, anything else either! Good luck George! Dave

George, just thought of something. Keep your eyes open at antique stores and flea markets. I've been noticing in the last 20 years or so, they have a lot of "antique" auto parts and related things that we used back in the day. Dave
