There is one at the Popcorn Museum in Holland Ohio (Toledo). Jim Fentress runs the museum and he knows how to repair the pop corn stuff. I have his contact if needed.

There is one in the Owls Head Museum in Maine. Those folks are very knowledgeable about all of their vehicles/displays!

The Wyandot Popcorn Museum in Marion Ohio also has one. Two museums in one state.

There used to be one at the Seattle Center by the Space Needle. I haven't been there for 30 years, so don't know if it is still there or not.

Keith, this was at the Seattle Center Armory in 2013. I imagine it’s still there.

The Purple Cow

Post by FreighTer Jim » Thu Sep 17, 2020 11:22 am

The daughter of the dairy farmer that restored
“ The Purple Cow “ contacted me a few years ago
after she tried selling it on The MTFCA Classifieds.

I reached out to Jerry Kramer and together we facilitated
a loan agreement to The MTFCA Museum in Richmond, Indiana.

I provided free transport.

They drove it to the back of my trailer for loading.

It needs glass repair and probably some engine work but overall it is a nice popcorn and hotdog truck.

It is for sale.

Joe,

Do you have any photos of the Model T hearse? I would love to see it.

Tom, I could be wrong, but I thought I saw one advertised from Volo Auto Museum in Illinois a while back. They wanted a fortune for it.

Tom

That is probably too narrow a niche interest with not enough volume work for a company to do - there is not enough demand.
