Coker White 30x 3 1/2 tires

Post by Mountainrider » Sat Sep 19, 2020 7:09 pm

These have been in storage in my garage for 10 years. I don’t want to sell and ship due to the fact I’m not sure of there condition. Would trade for some decent 30 x 3’s if someone wants to come look at them. I’m in Western Massachusetts.

Hi Neil, I'm interested in your tires and probably have some black ones to use as trades. I'm not too concerned regarding age if they've been stored inside since new. Shipping wont be cheap but we'll worry about that as we proceed. Are these Coker Commanders? Or what are they called? They may be a little too much oversize for my taste but can you send me a couple of detailed closer up pictures maybe a good side view so I might get a better idea of size. How do they compare to the size of the Riversides? I know that the size difference in minimal but when you're a nut case like me, it matters Thanks for dealing with my fussy taste.

Those are Coker Classic Bias Ply, Sawtooth tread.

I have a black set on my '17 roadster.

Thanks for the extra pictures Neil. So, what is your desire in tires. I have a lot of black 30X3 1/2 tires. None are recent purchases from a tire company so when I mention near new I'm talking about condition not newly made. I have an abundance of old Wards Riversides, (great originals not the new ones made by Lucas Tire) I also have a near new Firestone and a good condition Coker Commander. Does any of that interest you? I drive a lot of miles all over the country in my cars and never have tire problems. None of my tires are newer than when Wards stopped making their tires. The only matched pair would be used old Riversides. Ed aka #4

I need 30x3’s for the front. Still need to bend the passenger side front axle to get the camber set. Don’t want to install new tires until that is done.

Sorry Neil, I read your original post wrong, I had in my mind 30X3 1/2s. I'll go down and check but I don't think I have any 30 X 3s. Sorry to have lead you on. Almost positive I don't have two. I may have one but doubtful. I'll know sometime tonight.

Okay Neil, how much in a hurry are you and would a couple of not quite bald 30X3s work for you?

Well Neil, looks like I struck out. I guess the only next step is what price will you sell them for? Doubt if I'm your buyer but never hurts to ask. Sorry I couldn't come through with 30X3s.

Hey Jonah, let's start a bidding war and maybe we'll come up with an acceptable price for Neil. I'm good for $7.50.are you willing to go higher? Anyone else?

Alright I'll get serious for a change. $100.00 and you drop them off at Greyhound and I'll pay shipping. Who's next?
