Decided to work toward getting functional lamps since I picked up an acetylene generator at Luray. Was able to get one of the oil lamps immediately started up with a new wick. Attached are the pics. The other oil lamp has a leaking base. So will see if I can seal up the pinholes then get it lit with its new wick.
For the acetylene head lamps, have parts to order and some supplies. So, I will post pics in the future as I make progress. Don’t plan on operating the lamps often... but want to know they are back in working order if the magic needs to happen.

Looking good!
I did the same and got my kerosene lamps working first on my '14.
The three "square" lamps really aid in making you more visible from the side and back
during the low-light times, early and late in the day.
Easily adds an hour of driving time to either end of the day!
Only takes a minute to light them and they can stay lit while parked.
The acetylene lamps are different in that they are air cooled while driving.

Looking good! You might want to turn the flame down some it's too tall and looks like it about to start smoking. The wick should be tight across the top, no fuzzing and cut straight across and maybe an angled snip on each end.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
