1925 Roadster wood
Hi, I have a 1925 Roadster that I'm restoring. The wood is completely gone, the only wood I have is the door wood. I'm hoping to rebuild the rest of the wood frame myself. I haven't been able to find any plans online. Does anyone have or know where I can find some drawings for the wood?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1925 Roadster wood
I got a set of plans from Leon Parker. FORD1914@BELLSOUTH>NET is his email. I had very little old wood to work with but what I did have helped as I had to scratch my head on a number of occasions as to where things went!

Except that Leon passed away.
I don't know what became of the plans, thought I had read someone might have gotten them to try and reproduce again in the future.

Re: 1925 Roadster wood
I guess the last post about the status of Leon Parker’s wood plans was in June of 2019.
Hopefully what happens to them will be resolved soon. The plans being made avaliable in some way could be a real positive for the T Hobby. Hope this doesn’t wind up being a mystery like finding the elusive treasure on Oak Island. We know the plans exist. But where.

Jim Sims, I am in the same situation as Vincent.
I could use 1925 roadster plans. I sent an email to you don't know if you received it.

Re: 1925 Roadster wood
There are two totally different bodies used in 1925, early and late. You need to understand the difference before you decide what to do. The late '25s have a metal tool compartment in back of the gas tank. The wood is similar, but that's it. You need to know the difference.

Re: 1925 Roadster wood
Larry: Did not the late also have the metal post for the door to hang on instead of a wood post? Thanks Dan

Re: 1925 Roadster wood
Dan, of course they did! It's called the wide cowl body, and even used a new design floormat.
