Well this was a really fun weekend... Carston had spring break last weekend. Found out I was driving a route to the Coast doing vacation relief deliveries on Saturday starting at 1 am. I was able to take Carston in the big Alpenrose truck with me and showed him what my day to day routines was like.

Then spent this evening with him teaching how to drive Nuthin’ Special on the street by the farm... can someone post a video for me?

Also finished up the tying up the wiring harness.

One of my favorite words is "sublime".

I try to use is sparingly because so few things are.

This is.

Carston reminds me of myself a little at that age...
Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing !!

Spend all the time with him you can, while you can. :)

Love the photos Chris. I think the Nothing Special posts are some of my favorites.
Just give me time to Rust and I'll be good as new. :) Wabi-Sabi

Carston, how'd it feel to ACTUALLY drive the Nuthin' Special and you drove it out on the street? Cool.
My granddaughter Ava gave me heck last year (she's about your age) but their were always too many people and kids when she was here to take her down the hill and let her drive a T again without a bunch of interruptions. You're a lucky young man!
Chris, thanks to you 3 people for keeping us up to date. :)
Since I lost my mind mind, I feel more liberated

You are certainly starting Carston out right. Other kids might claim a high score on Grand Theft Auto but how many can say they've actually driven a model T? You've given him something he will never forget. Who knows, maybe someday he'll teach his own kid how to drive a model T (unless grandpa gets to him/her first.) Congrats!
