Antique car registration cost in AZ?
My stepson just moved to Goodyear and offered me a permanent parking place for one of my old cars. (No the T stays in Calif) What is the yearly registration cost of an antique car in AZ? If you need more info, it will probably be my 61 Metropolitan if I accept his offer.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Antique car registration cost in AZ?
Arizona has implemented a new tax called the “Public Safety Fee” at $32. per vehicle. My registration fee for my 1926 Runabout used to be $19.50 + $10. for the special copper plate. ($29.50) This year it was $62.00.

for cars built before 1928 they use the original sale cost to determine value.
I just registered my new to me 1915 and they decided that the value was as I recall
$260. They did the same thing when I licensed my 1925. I had the original bill of sale for it.

My 29 pickup costs $135 here in CA. AZ sounds like a bargain

Years back the bride and I decided to plant roots in Tennessee. Glad we did, she is mountain grown in these hills with good people like her.
License fees are what they should be Nationwide in my opinion, now depending whether or not your county is metro or rural, $29.00 regular vehicles and trucks 3/4 ton and below. Antique vehicles, $29.00 permanent one time purchase with some restrictions which the cops don’t really enforce as they love seeing the cars out and about.
I hate it for you folks stuck in the mud with those stupid fees.
All the Best,
Hank in Tin-A-See
