WTB hood latch NOT Model T...

Post by BasketCase24 » Tue Jun 04, 2019 8:33 pm

My Model T (Basket Case) has three latches that look like the attached photo

. I'm looking for one more, to replace the missing one. I found something close for antique tractors, but nothing identical. Anyone seen any like this?

Imperial brass was the manufacturer, they made many minor variants in different sizes. Some dimensions might be helpful.

Wow! You guys amaze me with how quickly you reply, and with pictures!!!

I took one of mine apart, put the significant parts next to a ruler.

The overall length is dependent on the amount that the screw is driven into the "hook"

I LOVE the brass ones, but if I'm replacing all of mine, I'd need four. Are there four available? They would really accent the brass rivets that hold the wicker on the fenders.

I'm not sure the black ones are long enough, but I'm interested. The one without the base could probably be made to work with a different base.

Are any of these for sale?
