Shout Out to Mike at Clastique

Post by ClockDoc » Tue Jul 30, 2019 11:29 pm

I bought my Fordor in 2014, and was just planning on just getting it running. Maybe some new tires and a new interior and a general going over to spruce it up. Well...Here it is 5 years later after taking it down to just the floor, replacing a lot of wood, complete engine overhaul, new transmission drums and bands, both front and rear axles gone through and basicly doing a TOTAL overhaul of everything in between. Throw in a quadruple bypass in 2018 to slow everything down.
I finally got to start putting the interior in the past 2 weeks. I pulled everything out of the boxes and started with the headliner and realized the the one in the box wasn't going to work, Arggggg. I called Mike and explained my problem and he immediately sent some samples of the current material that was available. A week later I received my new headliner in the mail. It looks great and the new material matches perfectly!
Suppliers like Mike and others who really care about their customers and go above and beyond are to be commended.
Thank you Mike!

What was wrong with the original headliner? Mismatched fabric?

The one that was sent with the kit was not the correct length.

Mike is a true asset to the hobby, and a great guy too. I deal with him a lot. Why go anywhere else!
