1911 parts
Yes, enough to build a car. Correct engine, 60,000 serial number range. Clam shell rear end, two piece drive shaft, 7 rivet pan, low head with out made in USA , 11 frame, correct running boards, hub caps, steering column is correct for 1911, the one that was made just after the 09/10 and before the late 11-12 offset hole style. Nice radiator, small dent in tank and blemish on the find but excellent core. Correct hogs head with lettered pedals. Body needs wood completed, I have original wood parts to copy.
Asking $14 k for the lot. Don't want to part out!
Email or call for more information and photos.

Re: 1911 parts
Forgot to mention that I have a windshield and top bows that goes with it. Also engine appears to be rebuilt, I took it off from the pan and the Babbitt on the rods and the crank appear to be fairly new. My plan was to pull the Pistons back out rehome the cylinders and clean the rings all up before trying to start it. The transmission looks in great condition also.
This will make a great restoration project for somebody I've been collecting parts for years. Only reason for selling is to fund my 09 and other 1911 project. Give me a call or email for more photos.
Have a great day! Mike

Here's a photo of the inside. I loosened one rod, the Babbitt looks good. I hate to part it out.

If you decide to part it out, I'd be interested in the head and steering column.

Re: 1911 parts
I may go that route.
I would have to have most of the parts committed to before I started selling things.
Here's what I'm thinking
Body, 3000
Engine with pan and transmission, hogshead. 5000
Rear end with 2-piece driveshaft 3000
Steering column 850
Top Bows 500
Wheels with hubcaps 500
Front axle 250
All of the lights 750
Radiator 800
Hood 200
Firewall with hood former 175
Windshield 400
Side light and tail light bracket 75
Running boards (11/12 with correct script) 175
Frame with running board brackets 650
Front fender brackets 125
Rear fender brackets 75
Rear fenders excellent originals with original paint 700

Good morning, the rear fenders are sold.
I'll take 2,000 for just the rearend without the driveshaft. 500 for the driveshaft.
Have a great day, Mike

Re: 1911 parts
The windshield, frame with running board brackets and the rear fender brackets are sold.
I'm getting requests to part out the engine. Engine, transmission, head $4,400.. hogs head with very good pedals, $200. I guess I'll just keep the 7 rivet pan for now. I also have 1913 steering column, $500.

Still have the 1911 flat tube core radiator. It has a small dent in the tank but the core is excellent. Should be a great driver radiator!

Re: 1911 parts
Found an extra original 1911 touring front seat. $750 I would take $2500 for the body in the photos but that's about it. Also a 1912 Rands windshield with a shorter top section. $450

Re: 1911 parts
Yes I have a friend going to Hershey, he will haul the engine there for $300
I've had several people interested, no one has committed yet. It seems ashame to start parting it out. It has the correct heavy valve covers also.

Re: 1911 parts
2 piece driveshaft is sold, radius rods are sold, still have the radiator($750) firewall($100) hood former($100), hood ($100), firewall brackets ($75) , nice engine block with crank, pistons valves ( $3800) low head without made in USA ($300) 1911 transmission ($350) early stamped magneto ring with magnets($300) excellent hogshead with sharp lettering on pedals ($225) seven rivet pan ($500) note: I won't sell any of the engine components until the engine block is sold. it's crazy to part out an engine like this?? How about $4200 for the engine with the parts I listed, that would be $4500 delivered to Hershey. Still have front axel, wheels, original hubcaps, side lamps, tail lamp, headlights, 12 rivet clamshell rearend, front and rear tapered springs.

Re: 1911 parts
Yes I did receive the email on the low head, I wasn't going to sell any of the engine parts until the block was sold, that was probably lost in my post, sorry. The engine was purchased as one unit all together, so it wasn't parted out.
If I find another head in my container, I'll send you an email.
Thanks again to mtfca and everyone who responded.
