Found this photo the other day in an old book, thought that all of you would enjoy seeing this. The morning crank- Ambulance drivers taking their morning exercise in training a t Morristown, NJ. 1917.

I always understood that "the morning crank" ment something entirely different ;)

There's an army command you don't hear much any more, the sergeant yelling, "READY----PULL!!!!". I sure wouldn't want to be the poor doughboy who's T didn't start. :lol:
