For sale (in a jingle)

Post by woodrow » Thu Oct 17, 2019 9:49 am

For sale:

One used Ford with a piston ring,
Two rear wheels, one front spring,
Has no fenders, seat, nor plank,
Burns much gas and hard to crank,
Carburetor's busted half way through,
Engine's missing, hits on two.
Nine years old, 10 in the spring,
Shock absorbers an' everything.
Radiator's busted, sure does leak,
Differential's dry, can hear it squeak
Ten spokes missin', front all bent,
Tires blowed out, ain't worth a cent
Got lots of speed, runs like the deuce,
Burns either gas or tobacco juice,
Tires all off, been run on the rim,
But it's a darn good Ford
for the shape it's in.

I know I have read that before, a few times. I always enjoy reading it again. Thank you.
