Re: Buffalo Wire Wheels - New and Rebuilt
My testimonial for what it is worth:
The wheels and hubs and caps Kevin makes are 1st quality stuff. I bought a set of 4 hubs, 4 wheels and 4 locking nuts. My '15 drove so much better with new hubs and wheels, ( they all turn true, with no hop or wobble) I bought a second set for my 1922 coupe. I have nothing to say but good things about Kevin and his wheels. No, they are not cheap. But like everything else in this world, you get what you pay for..... Quality is never cheap.
Here are my cars with the wheels installed....

Re: Buffalo Wire Wheels - New and Rebuilt
I can vouch for the quality of Kevin's wheels; I bought a set of 5 and they are flawless. Works of art. I had mine done in gloss black powder coat and had the Buffalo hex-caps polished and nickel plated - they're perfect.

Re: Buffalo Wire Wheels - New and Rebuilt
Another "very happy" customer - I kinda hated to install the wheels & cover up those "pieces of art" machined hubs !!!

I own the prototype set of Tony Manachi buffalo's, and he would be thrilled with what you are making. I know I am.

Re: Buffalo Wire Wheels - New and Rebuilt
It looks sort of like an hourglass. One end is right-hand thread, the other is LHT for the other side. At the neck of the hourglass shape there is a tapped hole with a pushing bolt pointing at either the RHT or the LHT, depending which side hub you are pulling.

Re: Buffalo Wire Wheels - New and Rebuilt
I just spoke with Kevin. I can see he will eventually rework my wheels, as he identified the issues I have known about for 40 years.
