New NH and Vaporizor Float Valve install tool available

Post by Scott_Conger » Fri Jan 10, 2020 6:59 pm

This will install or remove my Full Flow Float Valve or the common commercial valve offered by vendors for your NH or Vaporizor carburetor. It will NOT work correctly on original valves as the pilot is a different size, nor will it work on Grose Valves. They come out with a screwdriver anyway, with a little damage, or in the case with the Grose valve, a nut-driver.

This tool will not slip off the valve, risking damage to the valve upon installation like a simple screwdriver will.

I have tried to keep the price down, so while the drive-dog is hardened, the rest of the tool is NOT hardened. However, I believe it will hold up just fine unless intentionally abused, and even then I suspect it will take it's share and shrug it off.

I am only making 10 to start and will only start if there is interest, and the first one may already be spoken for. So, contact me via email to get on a list and if there are 10 enough folks in a reasonable time, I will make them and deliver them to your door for $35.

So note: This is Pre-Order only at this time, to gauge interest. I will stay in contact with you and give thumbs-up or down, based on response.

Please email your response to me, so that I can keep track. Thank you and Thanks for looking.

Good for you. Jack Daron made a similar tool for years but he is no longer with us.
Someone made me a tool for removing the lower jet in Holley G's and sent it to me years ago.
It is a great tool. One end removed the float valve and the other the bottom jet.

So here is free method advice.
Chuck the tool in your drill press chuck. Hold the carb in a vise. Apply down pressure while turning the tool handle. The pressure will keep the tool from slipping.

Hi Scott,

As Mike and others above have said: I have your High Flow Valves. I haven't used them yet but still plan on doing so. I would like to have one of your tools as well. I know I am the tenth in line and you already said #1 may be spoken for, thus, I may have to wait until the second batch. OR, you might consider making eleven and a little more cash.

Thank You, My Friend,
Terry Miller

Thank you all for your responses. This first order will go ahead.

I will commit to making tools to fill requests up to Terry Miller. Further requests will be put on a waiting list, which hopefully will be filled without too much delay.

thank you all for looking
