1922 Touring for sale.
This 1922 Touring is located a few miles from my home, in Elkhorn, Nebraska. I have no connection to it but felt I should list it on the Model T Forum.
The owner, Tim is asking $7500 OBO. He indicated his father has owned it for the past 50 years. It has been garaged the full 50 years. Tim just replaced the bands about 20 miles ago. He indicated it a daily driver and the performance is as expected.
Tim’s phone number is 402-677-2281

Re: 1922 Touring for sale.
My wife spotted this car when we were driving by on Christmas Eve. I got a good look at it on Christmas and it looks legit. I suggested that my wife needs her own Model T and this would be a good candidate. Unfortunately, she's holding out for a '67 Camaro.

This is exactly the car we are looking for... once we get a garage big enough...
Good luck on the sale.

One man top and slanted windshield would indicate a 1923-25 body??

Jeff
You're on the right path, but went too far...
Sept '22 and later manufacture; one man top, slanted windshield, top iron support comes out hole in panel, low radiator...refered to as 1923 Model
August '23 and later manufactur; cowl and radiator raised...much beefier looking...refered to as 1924 Model (which this isn't)
Though the dash appears to be from a '23, I would not doubt for a minute that this car was sold in, and then subsequently titled, as a '22
It is a lovely car at a great price

I want to thank the MTFCA and all who called on this car.
It has sold and going to the UK.

Re: 1922 Touring for sale.
It is hard to believe this car did not sell in the US. The market is unfortunately as soft as I had feared. Even with customs and shipping, the new UK owner has likely scored a very good value, even if costs exceed its worth.

Scott ,
you are right , I just looked at Hemmings ---lots of bargains for pre-war cars . I guess we are a dying breed.

Who's still makes these gaskets, I might be in the market for a solid copper one myself.
