I didn't see what prompted this, but given experiences in years past I can imagine. Thanks to Chris and Jeff for being there when some folks yield to their baser temptations. :D

I did see it and I'm glad that this forum is kept positive and friendly. Personal attacks don't belong here. Thanks to those who keep it that way.

Inquiring minds want to know. Must be cabin fever since its getting warmer outside.

I too have no idea what happened and assume the offending thread has been deleted. What gives?!

I did see it! I do NOT want to say much about it. But believe me, it NEEDED to be deleted.
Unfortunately, it involved two people, both occasional posters here, names known by many, with a serious dispute. Sadly, SOME details of the dispute MAY be pertinent to many regulars here. However, the forum is NOT the place it should be aired.

Generally, I am NOT in favor of frivolous removal of threads, or even individual posts. (Generally, I don't like what someone says? I move on.) However, for this instance, removal was the right thing to do.

I've seen this forum delve into the dark side before... and while I missed the impetus of what this was about, if it was similar to sidetracks previous, THANK YOU for stopping it in its tracks...

I believe it had to do with the old boys network and Larry Azevedo has the bull by the horns, so the problem has been taken care of for now.

What, what, did i miss a good catfight
It is a good thing that we have a couple of moderators that have a good sense of what to tolerate and what to delete, up until now i never had the idea they used their authority the wrong way , kudos on them !
Although.. secretly i'd like to know what i've missed 8-)

I took a refresher course last week and reread the form rules. That's something that many of us should do once a year or so. I read the rules after a political comment was posted last Tuesday (and is still there today).

All I know is, I post way less than I ever have here, only because a of a few people. No direct attacks, but a few hypocrites go out of their way to help one person, saying the young need to have info, and more or less telling me to go pound salt when I asked for help.

Take it for what you will. I used to post here alot. So did alot of others. 90% of the T guys are great, but even if I have valuable info to help others, I will probably only post to ask for help myself now.

Chad,
Don't stop posting. I'm one of the guys who may need the info you and others can provide. Don't know any of the history here, don't care. I do know I don't want to miss out on any and all info on my Model T that I may need and someone else may have. Thanks
