Gas Pump ID Please

Post by Rich Eagle » Sat Mar 14, 2020 5:55 pm

I parked my Racer by this old pump in 1971 for a photo. My good friend Joe now owns the pump. I told him with the expertise on the Forum we could probably identify it. Don't let me down. I know that Charley Shaver probably has one or two and others know far more than I do about these.

Rich, I have a friend Wallace Bellows that can probably answer that! I forwarded it to him.

I believe it's a Gilbert & Barker Type 88.

Might also be a T8 missing it's upper light and stem.
Here's one on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/153840569255

G&B (Gilbert & Barker) model T8 or T88 curb side gas pump. About 1917 or 18.

This is what Wallace said!

Thanks
