WTB: Cast Iron Rocky Mountain Drums

Post by mdsBob » Sat May 16, 2020 9:15 am

Like the subject line says, Cast Iron Drums to use with Rocky Mountain Brakes.
My understanding is that a run of these had been made at some point in the past with the small parking brake drum integrally cast making the 12" outer drum and in smaller inner drum 1 piece.
A pair was recently sold here but I missed out on them.
If someone has a pair I would be interested.
Thanks,
Bob

Yes, Joe, they should!

I'm tickled to have them and will building a pair of rear wheels soon to put them on. Many thanks!

Maybe some of you don't know this? Real Rocky Mountain brake drums are one size. The current reproduction is a different size. The cast iron drums I have seen are the original size, and to my knowledge are not currently available.

I have only a set of large drum cast iron ones, not small drums.
