Chickasha Swapmeet March 15-16

Post by Gene_French » Mon Feb 11, 2019 9:29 am

Gentlemen:
I am surprised that there has not been a bunch of postings about the meet coming up in just a few weeks … I will be in the south building with my Babbitt bearing molds and linebore units and ball caps … am looking to purchase some more ball caps for re-babbitting and also an unusual item … I am looking for a Masonic hub cap for Model T ( 1 or a set ) … see you all there … be there or be square... always an optimist...Gene French 970-581-2808

Gene...a while back, I think it was you who said you could make me a replacement rear main bearing that would take up the play in my crankshaft. If that's correct, can you bring one to Chickasha if I send you my measurements?

I’ll have my usual collection of used but usable parts on my booth NJ5, all cheap as I don’t want to bring them back home. This booth is in the North building near the north door.
I’ll also have a brass radiator which has a new core but the brass was beyond my skill to fix.
I’ll have an aluminum hogshead and a brass side lite, Corocan(?) not a Brown😊😊

By the way I love the Quick Reply feature, so easy😊

Also wondering if Larry With AC brakes is coming?

Dell, I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. There are always some, Ford and others. Here are a few from last year.

Dell:
there is always some interesting cars for sale at this meet … some restored and some original , some projects … not as many as there was 10 years ago , BUT they are still around and at a swapmeet you can have a very good look at the item and generally talk to the owner … not like ebay or craigslist sales … always an optimist ...gene french

Is anyone bringing a driver ready sedan to Chickasha? The wife is no longer willing to ride in the touring. Would prefer 26-27 with hydraulic brakes, but could change out the ruxstell & hydraulic brakes from the touring. I live close to Chickasha so could arrange to have car dropped off here on your way to Chickasha. Ed
