Re: Model T Webinar #3 - TOMORROW
I am on pins and needles as this is my one time a week I can connect with y'all until this is all over...
BTW... I am thinking of a virtual tour up here... over the forest service roads our T's were so familiar with. I remember a bike poker run someone did over forest serviice dirt and gravel roads, and all I could think was "Damn, this would be fun in an old car"... Not sure how to make it happen (and there are MUCH better venues than the ones we have) but yeah, we NEED this.

Re: Model T Webinar #3 - TOMORROW
Andre, you first need to go to
https://zoom.us/
and download the software. Then install it on your computer. When Jeff posts the details of today's webinar here, there will be a link to the webinar. The important things are the meeting number and the password (which will be in Jeff's post). The webinar time in Belgium will be nine hours later than the Pacific time that is posted (i.e. 10:00 am PDT is 9:00 pm CET).
Succes! See you in the webinar....

Re: Model T Webinar #3 - new T owner stories
It's sad as I was looking for it, but it never showed up today...
If you really want to do this, do not give teasers, but put it out there for us to enjoy. Othersise, it doesn't exist.
I put aside a chunk of my morning for it only to not have a way to connect. That was not only disappointing, it was not fun.
IF the club does this again, please make sure we know how to be a part of it... otherswise you're doing no one any favors. Waiting until the last minute for something that can be set up a week ahead doesn't work.
If I was a new member, looking to talk to someone, or gain someone's experience... well, it left me, as a long term member wanting. How does that newbie feel???

If Jeff got called in to work there is not much he could do about it. Probably plan on doing it next week then. Dont worry. He also saves the Webinars so you can watch it later at your leisure

Re: Model T Webinar #3 - new T owner stories
I blew it and missed it! I was even UP early... Unheard of...
Oh wait. Duane, it plays at noon in this time-zone...
Thank the heavens something came up. I was on an OT trip for OT toys/more work anyhow.
I completely understand the mishap. Carry on, good sirs. We'll see you soon!
Itchin' to see this one. I have been so blame lucky with these little buggers. They have never given me any real grief.
Wishin' to see Jeff perhaps squirm a little at his dog-gone mis-adventures, with the usual smile.
No worries.
You fellas work hard for this site/forum and it never goes unnoticed here.
Another side: Steve, would you give us a shop tour? I believe many of us would like to see that.
Thank you.

I went into Zoom a few minutes before the scheduled opening, clicked on "Join Meeting," entered the meeting number as shown, entered the password as shown, and I was in. It even went a little more seamlessly than joining the previous webinars.
This is definitely a problem that needs to be identified, but I don't think it can be blamed on Chris and Jeff.

I asked because Steve thought it had been postponed.
Actually an email a couple of minutes before the online meeting doesn’t just enough notice to get a reasonable response. JMHO

This was less formal than the other webinars, just Jeff & I relating our stories.
There were about 15 in attendance.

Re: Model T Webinar #3 - new T owner stories
Good morning! I'm John Bargerhuff, MTFCA newby who's anxious to learn more about Model T's and the club. I saw the first (?) webinar in late April but then i missed a a couple, including #3- stories about new T ownership. I can't seem to find any archived copies of it, either here or on you-tube. Anyone know where I can find it?

Which is really too bad. This would have been a great time for MTFCA to move into the 21st century and try to bring in a younger audience. Instead we keep pushing the DVD collection.......
