1911 TOP
My 1911 Touring came with a new JV Auto Interiors top kit. The kit has enough webbing to have two pieces from the front bow to the rear bow. I have seen pictures of 1911's with the webbing in an X pattern between each bow with one piece of webbing going straight thru the X in the center. Which is correct and with the X pattern is the piece in the middle the same width as the X webbing? Thanks, Art

Art-
Here you go! These are image of Fred Lau (RIP) 1911. I pattered my top off these images.
The strap is top material folded backwards, so the shiny side is on the inside.
Hope these help.

Re: 1911 TOP
Thanks Kieth, are you saying the webbing has the shiny side down or up? Can you also tell me the width? Art
