Old Photo, Smith's garage, 1910 touring car

Post by Ruxstel24 » Wed Sep 18, 2019 10:53 pm

From the Akron memories on FB.
Smith's Garage on Sumner St. The car is supposed to be a 1910 Royal Tourist model M2 7 passenger touring car.

That poor car is all sorts of smashed ! Would be interesting to know the backstory.

The way those three are smiling? I wonder if they just brought it in as salvage and get to keep it and repair it for themselves?
Like Burger says, that car is all sorts of damaged. Running board busted up. Hand crank bent back. Front tire missing, hood off. Not significant collision damage, maybe a rollover in soft soil?

Interesting photo. Thanks Dave H !

One I found of a less crunched Royal Tourist.
Cleveland Ohio based. :)
